Baltimore September festivals turn the city into a month-long celebration once summer's heat finally breaks. Cool mornings replace the humidity, rowhouse blocks fill with music and folding tables of handmade goods, and every neighborhood seems to be hosting its own small celebration. From a downtown concert headlined by Boyz II Men to a six-block literary street party in Waverly to a pig race in Southwest Baltimore, Baltimore has something for everyone.   Charm City Live: A Baltimore September Festival Kickoff at War Memorial Plaza
Hotels near Baltimore colleges fill quickly during move-in weekends, Family Weekend, homecoming, and graduation. Parents often book months in advance because thousands of families arrive at the same time, and accommodations close to campus become increasingly difficult to find. If your student is attending college in Baltimore, planning early gives you more choices, less stress, and more time to simply enjoy being together.
